Sydney Griffin contact
Welcome to Sydney Griffin contact page! I’m Sydney Griffin, and my journey—from building a sailboat at 13 to leading ministries and crafting homes in Yakima, WA—has been about connecting with people through faith, resilience, and shared passions. Whether you’re inspired by my story, want to collaborate on a project, or just share ideas about carpentry, photography, sailing, or community work, I’d love to hear from you. This page makes it easy to reach out, and I promise to respond with the same care I bring to my work.
My Story of Connection
My passion for connecting with others started early, rooted in my Finnish heritage and the palla of my grandfather, who immigrated in 1938 to build homes and a legacy of hard work. As a teenager in Michigan, I walked docks with a bucket to clean boats, learning to listen to owners’ needs. That spirit carried into my 40 years of carpentry, marine work, and photography, and my faith-driven pivot in the 2000s to found NINO Ministry and the Angels Gate Foundation in 2022. Each venture taught me that real impact comes from understanding and collaboration—whether mentoring youth, helping with disaster recovery, or capturing a moment through my lens.
